In the Andes Mountains of South America, the Inca people believed the sun god Inti was the source of all things, the most exalted deity of the Inca Empire. This belief remains vividly alive today — every June, a grand Inti Raymi celebration is still held in Cusco, Peru, and many Indigenous communities across the Andes still cherish this ancient reverence for the sun.

传说因蒂曾派儿子和妻子带着一根黄金权杖来到人间，走遍千山万水，最终在权杖能完全插入地面的地方，建立了后来成为印加帝国首都的城市——库斯科。

Legend says Inti once sent his son and wife down to earth with a golden staff, and after journeying across countless mountains and valleys, they finally founded a city — Cusco, which later became the capital of the Inca Empire — at the very place where the staff could sink completely into the ground.
