In the Capitoline Museums in Rome stands a famous bronze she wolf. The twins beneath her were added in the late fifteenth century, and scholars still debate when the wolf herself was cast. The she wolf became the symbol of the city of Rome, and she even appears on the badge of the AS Roma football club.
