In ancient Roman legend, the founding of Rome is tied to a pair of twin brothers and a she-wolf. Long, long ago, in a small city in Italy, a pair of newborn twin brothers were thrown into the Tiber River on the orders of their cruel great-uncle, caught up in a struggle over the throne.
河水湍急，篮子却奇迹般地被冲到岸边，卡在了一棵无花果树下。恰巧一只母狼路过，听到婴儿的哭声，非但没有伤害他们，反而心生怜悯，把两个孩子叼回自己的山洞，用狼奶悉心哺育。
The river current was swift, but the basket miraculously washed ashore, catching on a fig tree. A she-wolf happened to pass by, and hearing the babies cry, felt only compassion instead of harm — she carried them back to her den and nursed them with her own milk.
